Didn’t ur doctor tell u????????????
U gotta stop smoking, cut down on fries, burgers, and other fatty foods, cut down on aerated drinks. lose some wt.
Start exercising (esp jogging, walking, swimming more than “gym”workouts). eat healthy. If ur doc gave u any medicines, TAKE THEM ON TIME.! go for follow ups regularly.

high blood pressure
there is 2 ways to do so…
1) NON-pharmacological method..
in this method we try to eliminate the risk factors leading to hypertension and to make some adjustment to the patients lifestyle and it is done by:
-reduce your weight if you were obese.
-reduce your salt intake
-stop smoking
-treat any kidney problems if you got any.
-control your blood glucose if you were diabetic.
-you MUST do some sport at least 3 times a week for 1hr each time, waking, tennis, jugging, or any kind of physical activity you like to do.
if those NON-pharmacological solutions didn’t work it out we got to try method (2)….
2) Pharmacological method…
at this stage the non-pharmacological method wasn’t sufficient to normalize your blood pressure..so drug therapy is a MUST in this stage…drugs could be used to treat hypertension..
-Diuretics
-Beta blockers
-ACE-inhibitors….angiotensin-1 converting enzyme inhibitors
-ARB’s….angiotensin-2 receptor blockers
-Calcium channel blockers
-CNS affecting drugs.
RECOMMENDATIONS concerning you…
try to have a healthy food and do some exercise and adjust the salt in your diet in order to become healthy again and not to follow any drugs therapy in future.
note:
ppl in your age..we usually suspect kidney problems..so make some tests to be sure whats the reason behind all that.
best wishes

Take your medications as ordered by your doctor. Eat sensibly and exercise. A quick way to lower it is to lay on your back and prop up your feet with about four pillows. Worked for me.
