what are the signs of blood pressure being high?

I have asked a question before about swelling in hands, fett, and lips. but my mother today had an episode where her face was really red even her ears she felt dizzy and couldn’t see for about 10 min. she is 50 yrs. old and her only diagnosed problem is her high blood pressure.. she is 4″11″ and weighs 124 lbs any one who has a similar expierence please.. please leave all deatils very much appreciated thank you!

I was just diagnosed with high blood pressure. I went to the doctor complaining of vise like headaches, especially in the morning, nausea, heart palpitations and a whooshing in my right ear, sounding like my heartbeat.
Your mother should go to the ER. When you get symptoms, it could lead to a stroke or a heart attack. High blood pressure can result from a number of things. Sometimes they never find the reason. Be careful. . . she could go blind too. Good Luck!

The next time this happens to your mother, call an ambulance. It sounds like she is having a T I A or Transient Ischemic Attack. I have included an link below for more info.
This is nothing to be trifled with, it could be the warning sign of a coming stroke.
I had a TIA in July of last year – not fun.
