No of course not stick to lean meats though like lean mince or a steak without the fat. Fillet and Sirloin are good. Cheaper red meat tends to have more fat and that is what makes it unhealthy.

The main thing to stay away from is SALT and food containing salt like potato chips, olives, etc. Pork and chicken is better than beef. But you can eat beef within reason.
Good luck! Blood pressure can be controlled and if your doctor gave you medication, be sure and take it as prescribed.

High blood pressure is really no big deal. Just eat foods high in potassium like banannas, orange juice or V8. Dont drink low sodium V8 causeit contains potassium chloride which will make you pee a lot. Eating all kinds of dead flesh, othrwise known as meat, is not good for your body.

You should eat as little red meat as possible especially if you have high blood pressure, as they both contribute to heart disease.
Bananas are full of potassium so will lower blood pressure.

it is ok to eat.
but you have to avoid to much calorie and to much fat food.
and really avoid food with lots of sodium.
Some of the best foods you should consider eating more of should include foods that are rich in fiber, omega 3 and oats. These types of foods are not only very healthy to consume, they also help in regulating your blood pressure.
Foods that are rich in omega 3 like sea foods, fishes, squids, and all other types help lower blood pressure because these components are healthy to the heart. Other food types that help lower blood pressure include skim milk, sunflower seeds, beans, banana, soy, dark chocolate and pineapple.
Skim milk is rich with nutrients that help lower blood pressure by about three to ten percent and could most likely reduce risks at cardiovascular related diseases.
Beans and seeds that are rich in magnesium could also help lower blood pressure. Magnesium is great blood pressure reducer and could even maintain your blood pressure at a regulated level with regular consumption.
As weird as it sounds, dark chocolate could lower blood pressure. This is because it contains ingredients that are helpful in maintaining a person’s blood pressure. Eating an ounce of dark chocolate that contains less than 30 calories can definitely reduce blood pressure as researches have shown.
Pineapples in particular could help lower blood pressure at it can reduce the amount of blood that is bumped into the body. This is also the very reason why women who are about to give birth are advised to eat pineapple to maintain their blood pressure.

The latest saying of the world is “BE A VEGETARIAN & BE A BUDDHA”. Now a days everywhere in the world doctors are recommending Vegetarian food.
Lifestyle changes:-
Don’t smoke cigarettes or use any tobacco product.
Lose weight if you’re overweight.
Exercise regularly.
Eat a healthy diet that includes lots of fruits and vegetables and is low in fat.
Limit your sodium, alcohol and caffeine intake.
Try relaxation techniques or biofeedback.
The below are must in your diet:
Potassium: This is a vitamin that is proven to help, prevent and control high blood pressure. Be sure to eat foods that pertain plenty of Potassium. Foods that are a good source for potassium are fruits, vegetables, dairy foods. Specific foods are apricots, bananas, beets, oranges, prunes, milk- fat free or skim, baked potato (flesh &skin), cooked spinach.
Calcium: This vitamin/minerals supplement is a powerful blood pressure lowering element. It is an important nutrient for overall good health. It is recommended that you take one gram of elemental calcium daily. Foods that are a good source of calcium are dairy products such as milk, yogurt and cheese. To maintain a healthy body weight, however, be sure to consume skim or lowfat varieties. Foods that are high in calcium include raw broccoli, cooked turnip greens and tofu.
Magnesium: Magnesium deficiency could be potentially dangerous for those suffering from Hypertension. As a matter-of-fact, the vitamin level is extremely low in the Hypertension patients. Therefore, it is recommended that you eat plenty of foods that contain this nutrient. It is possible to take a daily supplement of 400mg daily. Recommended food source for magnesium is beans, okra, broccoli, spinach and nuts/seeds.
Vitamin C: This nutritional supplement is important for controlling elevated blood pressure. If the serum level of Vitamin C is low, the blood pressure rises. It is not yet determined, however, if this is a result of dietary habits or a direct effect of the Hypertension.
The key to reducing high blood pressure with vitamins is to eat a variety of foods that actually supply the nutrients, fiber and vitamins that is indeed required to reduce elevated pressure. Fundamentally, you should apply a basic vitamin or mineral formula to your diet and supplement it with nutritional supplements daily.
