Steenskees asked:

Is it common to have slightly high blood pressure 138/88 a couple of days after a heavy day of drinking?

You wouldn’t usually expect to see it continue for a couple days but it’s certainly possible. Especially if you got really dehydrated and didn’t drink enough water the day after. If it goes back to normal soon then the drinking was most likely the cause. If it stays high then check out slow breathing in the website in the resource box below.
Slow breathing will get your blood pressure back to normal the day after and will also make you feel better all around. If you have a regular problem with hypertension slow breathing will control it in 15 minutes a day. It’s great.
