Has anyone been prescribed the pill Labetalol during pregnancy for high blood pressure?

bunny asked:

I am 32 weeks pregnant and recently had to start going to a high risk Doctor due to my blood pressure. The doctors goal is to keep me pregnant until at least 35 weeks. Has anyone taken this pill or any other B/P pill and had a successful deliver and how far along were you when you did deliver? Also will i still be able to deliver vaginally? Thank you all in advance!

  1. Website content Says:

    high blood pressure

i have been on labetalol since 16 weeks.
I am currently 36 weeks and 1 day and due to labetalol my BP has gone down to 120/60.
earlier on in my pregnancy they were talking about maybe needing to deliver after 32wks, but now the doctors think that I will be able to give birth vaginally and naturally at full term, although I may need to have an epidural if my BP goes up during labor.
