1. High blood pressure can cause arrhythmia or skipping heart beats and short breathe or is the other way around?

2. How can i have 150-105 sitting on a chair and 1 min later after i lay on bed, go down to 110-70, is that normal?

3. How can you walk and exercise when you have these symptoms (short breathe, heart skip beat etc) ??

4. I have done all kind of exams (except x-rays) and doctors tell me i just need to lose some weight and avoid stress, they basically tell me it’s all because of stress and panic.
How can this be panic? It feels so physical when it happens.

He has high blood pressure. And it doesn’t help that he has to pay medical bills for four people who all have to be on medication that are really pricey, works a good part of the day, comes home to my 11 year old brother who refuses to do his homework and has such bad ADD symptoms from what we have that it gets to the point where my dad is screaming bloody murder and cussing at him because his behaviour is so bad, and has to work on the computer at home, AND has to take care of my mom.

My poor daddy needs to RELAX and take care of himself (should I try to tell him that if he doesn’t take care of himself for once he won’t be able to take care of us either, or would that make things worse? Because seriously you can’t help someone else is your not helped either.)

I just went for my first doctors appointment since falling pregnant. I told her that all my symptoms of pregnancy disappeared 36 hours ago.

She did urine tests and a blood pressure test and she said:

I am pregnant
I have protein in my urine
I have high blood pressure.

She phoned the hospital and asked them to see me today. They weren’t keen as I am only four and half weeks pregnant. It was agreed I’ll have blood tests tomorrow and if ‘the levels’ are high enough the hospital will assess and scan me.

What is she worried about? Why does she want the hospital to see me?

I don’t understand, because I am fit, slim, young and healthy. What is her concern? What am I at risk of?

(140s-150s/90s-100s) so im going to the doctor this week but not until a few days. the nurse said it could be hyperthyroidism, i mean i am skinny and have a fast metabolism but i dont think im underweight. then i heard that diabetes and high blood pressure usually run together too, and now that i think about it i have been having a few symptoms of diabetes. i also have some of the symptoms of hyperthyroidism too though. is it really possible that i could have all of this together. i mean is that normal or do those all usually run together. its just really getting me down because i used to be really healthy and everything, and now i just feel soo unhealthy. i was just wondering though if those are all somehow related or something.

Along with that i was experiencing a warm sensation in my left calf and on the left side of my face including my lips, but only on the left side of my lips. My dr did an ultrasoud of my calf which was normal. I had a stress test doen which was also normal. Since my symptoms of the warm senstation (does not feel warm to the tough only feels warm inside) were only one sided my dr said that she would need to rule out Multiple sclerosis. Any thoughts? My husband recently visited an allergist and discovered he is very allergic to dust mites and outdoor weeds. He received a sample of Nasacort and used it all up; it didn’t totally cure his symptoms but definitely improved them a bit. When we took his prescription in to Walgreen’s to have it filled, it was nearly $80 after our insurance discount – not in our budget. My husband has high blood pressure and controls it with medication; that being said, can anyone recommend something that may be effective for his allergies that we can purchase over the counter? Ok, this is going to sound a little weird but I have to ask it.

I have had issues with my sinuses for a very long period of time. I currently get allergy shots, take Singulair and Flonase and on occasion take Claritin when I have a really bad time. Right now, I am again suffering with sinus issues (pressure, headache, dizziness, etc.) but something weird happens when I eat. When I have lunch and usually only at lunch time, after eating I feel light headed, my heart rate increases and I feel dizzier. I’m not sure if it’s because my sinuses are all jacked up or if I am actually developing high blood pressure. In the last 5 years both the diastolic and systolic numbers have increased to where it could be pre-hypertension but every time I’ve had my blood pressure taken, it’s been after I’ve rushed so I don’t know how accurate that is.

Anyway, I don’t know if or how the two are related but I am interested to know if anyone has the dizzy symptoms after eating.

What,if any, are the dangers of discontinuing taking Pristiq and high blood pressure medication?
I have been on an antidepressant and a medication for high blood pressure for about a year or 2 now. I have also taken Xanax for panic disorder (that I feel I still need to be taking). If I try to work on the core of what makes me depressed and have high blood pressure and discontinue these medications are there any dangers? I think I am able now,more so than before, to tackle the actual causes (in my life) of the aforementioned symptoms/issues.

So in Bio today we were learning about the heart and whatnot….. And it was brought to my attention many “symptoms” or “concerns” I have regarding my blood pressure. First of all, the past few times I’ve gotten my blood pressure check it’s been “a little high”. On the elliptical (I don’t know how accurate it is) it said my heart rate was 207. Throughout the day I get a very red face, red/sweaty palms, and my heart is PUMPING! Like I can often feel it through my chest. I can can feel the pumping. And I hear it in my ear too, like when I burst up a flight of stairs for example.

Are these bad signs? Not normal? Should I bring it up with my doc? By the way, I’m 17.

For the past few weeks I’ve had periods of severe stomach cramps followed by diarrhea. This has happened about four times. Also, sometimes when my feet are elevated, I feel like my heart is thumping loudly. The side of my neck has been pulsating and one of my eyelids has been jumping. These symptoms are on and off.

Last night, another bout of diarrhea, but his time, my whole head felt like it was throbbing. Then my face started feeling odd and numb. My palms got hot and tingly. When I looked in the mirror, my face was dark red and even the whites of my eyes were red. I almost had my husband take me to the emergency room.

I’ve had some problems with high blood pressure, but nothing too scary. I do have medication for it and have been taking it. But if this is what’s happening, it obviously isn’t working.

Does anyone have a clue what’s going on? Oh, and there have been a few headaches, but nothing unbearable.
