Can I Join The Military With High Blood Pressure?

I really want to serve somehow in the military, but someone told me that since i have mild high blood pressure and i take daily pill for it that i can not join the military since i take daily meds. Is there any way to join if you have high blood pressure or am i sol?

    Current or history of hypertensive vascular disease (401) is disqualifying. Elevated blood pressure defined as the average of three consecutive sitting blood pressure measurements separated by at least 10 minutes, diastolic greater than 90 mmHg or three consecutive systolic pressure measurements greater than 140 mmHg is disqualifying (796.2).
