Any corrleation between high blood pressure and vomiting?

prudence z asked:

My mom told me that she vomited because of high blood pressure. I’ve never heard about the correlation between these two, anyone can tell me if vomiting has anything to do with high blood pressure? If yes, what is it? Serious answers only please. Thank you.

If her hypertension is causing nausea and vomiting, she may very well be having a cardiac incident. Heart attacks do not always cause chest pain. Nausea is a symptom as well.

Your Mom needs help when you get to the stage where you have nausea it is not good. She can go blind, have a stroke and or go into kidney failure. Take Mom to a doctor now, please do not wait.

    Symptoms of High Blood Pressure

Hypertension is often called the “silent killer” because symptoms of high blood pressure do not appear for years until a vital organ is threatened. Signs of long-untreated high blood pressure (such as headache, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, shortness of breath, restlessness and blurred vision) can be the result of damage to the brain, eyes, heart and kidneys.
